After a 48-6 loss to Naaman Forest, second year Coach Greg Pels is still looking for his first win as Richardson’s head coach.

Varsity went in hoping to forget last seasons’ 26-0 defeat to Naaman Forest at home.

The Eagles first and only score came on a touchdown run from senior Nic Smith.

Back to back fumbles gave Naaman Forest the time they needed to build their lead to 28-6 at the half.

Naaman Forest continued to roll on both sides of the ball, finishing the game with 448 all purpose yards, while holding Richardson to 176 total yards with only 34 rushing.

Next up is an away game at Midlothian who handed the Eagles a 52-15 loss last year.
