Eagles Swim to Regionals

Last Friday, 18 individual swimmers advanced to regionals at the 8-6A District Championships. The Eagles won a total of 12 medals, with 86% of the swimmers achieving their personal best times.
The RHS “Swimmers of the Meet” were seniors Sofia Sacco, Andrew Plese, and Jose Ramirez-Ozaeta. Ramirez-Ozaeta finished second in the 100m fly and fourth in the 50m freestyle.
“As a team we did great and got alot of swimmers to regionals,” Ramirez-Ozaeta said. “I think the team should be proud, and I’m excited for what’s to come.”
The regional meet will take place this Friday and Saturday at the Lewisville West Natatorium.
