Students milled into the school building donned in tulle and spandex for the first day of homecoming spirit week. Dressed as characters from their favorite shows and movies, RHS students kicked off spirit week.

“I’ve gotten a lot of complements, I think this is the most I’ve talked to people through out school,” said junior Amaris Carter, dressed as Two-Face from Batman.

Students and teachers both enjoyed the festivities of wearing costumes to class despite possible distractions.

“It’s fun and you get to talk about it, you get to see the kids, we’re supporting our school, and its full of team spirit,” teacher Debbie Reese said.
