For the second time in a row, the school was chosen as a three-year demonstration site for the AVID program by Stacie Valdez, Project Manager of Leadership Development, and other AVID representatives. In order to receive this award, representatives observed classes to see how students are preparing for college readiness.

“I’m so honored to work with such a great group of staff and students,” AVID Coordinator Elizabeth Brown said. “I’m very excited to maintain the status as a AVID Demonstration School.”
