Jayde Kneeland is a freshman and a first-year staff writer on The Talon.

Some call her Jynxx, and lesser few call me Grandma or Gege. She decided to join the staff because she wanted to experience how it was to write in a different stance and about news rather than my usual small stories that she enjoys writing.
Speaking of writing, it’s one of her many hobbies, along with art, playing the flute, and roller derby. Writing has been one of her main passions, for she always wanted to become an author, and journalism has helped me experience different ways she can write stories about others. Her favorite quote is from one of her favorite books/danmei series: “The one standing in infinite glory is you; the one fallen from grace is also you. What matters is ‘you’ and not the state of you.” -TGCF. And now, she will be headed to find my destined San Lang, even if it takes 800 years.
