When chocolate milk flew across the cafeteria, Principal Charles Bruner knew changes had to be made.
An overcrowded cafeteria, along with concerns about student conduct, forced the administration to add a third lunch period.
“It was more than just a place for everybody to sit – it’s the growing pains of also discipline and behavior and making sure that we uphold Richardson standards,” Bruner said.
There will now be a new lunch, C lunch. The students who used to be in B lunch were moved into C lunch, while anyone with a G Hall or F Hall fourth period now has B Lunch.
“I dislike this lunch because now I don’t have a lunch with my friends, and I have to figure out a new route to get to all of my classes,” freshman Nia Lacy said.
