The football team fell to Midlothian 40-13 in another one-sided non-district game continuing an 18-game skid for the program.

An early 79 yard touchdown by Midlothian’s Austen Thomas would set the tone for a run-heavy attack.

Richardson showed improvements in pass defense allowing only 66 yards through the air while forcing three turnovers.

Midlothian finished the game with 532 rushing yards – five times more than the Eagles’ 102 rushing yards on the ground.

The home-opener is next Thursday against 0-2 Irving Nimitz who lost to Richardson Pearce 38-15 on Friday.
