On National Signing Day, nine student athletes signed their official letters of intent to play collegiate sports.

“I love the sport that I play, so it feels great to be able to play for four more years,” senior volleyball player Riley Wertzberger said.

The students earned roughly $822,000 combined in scholarships to their future colleges, with a few even receiving a full athletic scholarship to their school.

“The first thing any college coach asks for is the students’ transcripts,” Athletic Director Greg Pels said. “Academics is what sets these students apart from the rest.”
